Q. Do I have to be a member to post my ad? A. Yes you must be a member to post your ad. Your account must also have sufficient credit.

Q. How do I top up my account? A. Please click on the purchase credit link on top of the page for instructions on how to send funds to us.

Q. How long will my ads remain on the site? A. Your ads will remain on our site as per the ad package you purchased and are automatically removed after they expire.

Q. Will my ad appear in the search engines? A. Our site has high page ranking on Google and other major search engines. If someone is searching for a particular item in the search engines and you have that word or item in your ad, the page with your ad on it will come up. The position (ranking) of the ad will depend on the search engine’s criteria and their respective ranking processes. Sometimes the ads get listed on Google within 5 days.

Q. Can I submit ad in a category not relevant to it? A. We suggest you place your ad in the relevant category as posting it in the wrong category will not sell it much. Please note the solution to advertising online successfully is placing the right advert within the right category. Posting in unrelated category could have your ad deleted.

Q. I am receiving error or unable to post my ad. A. There can be various reasons for a possible technical error while posting. If the problem persists, please send us all the details and we shall fix the problem and also post your classified.

Q: Does placing online classified ads really work? A: Yes! Plain and simple, internet marketing is a numbers game. The greater your visibility, the greater your traffic. What's unique about placing online classified ads is the fact that your customers come looking for you!

Q: My photos are not loading, what do I do? A. Make sure that your photos are in the Kb range and that they are in the JPEG/JPG file format. Please try to keep image file sizes as small as possible i.e. less then 250 kb.

Q: What should I do if I see an ad that I think is spam, offensive, miscategorized or illegal? A. If you suspect that an item posted for sale may be part of a scam, illegal, prohibited or otherwise a bad fit for this site please click here to send us and e-mail. Be sure to include the URL of the post in your message.

Q: Will SambazaSoko ask me for my password? A. *WARNING* Do *NOT* disclose your password, ever, to anyone, for any reason. We will *NEVER* ask for your password. Don’t get phished! If you think your password may have been disclosed, email us and you will be re-authenticated and issued with a new password ASAP.
